About a month ago, I received an email from the editor of MiBiz asking if I’d like to participate in a technology roundtable discussion on security.
MiBiz is a bi-weekly B2B publication covering business news in the 18 county-wide area that makes up West and Southwest Michigan. Most local businesses get the publication for free but from what I have heard, quite a few read it to see what’s going on in the area.
They ended up publishing only a small bit of what I had to say so I thought I would post my full response to the questions.

I’ve had alltell now for years and there really isn’t much (if anything), I can say bad about them. In fact, I’ve had a great experience with them, they’ve always provided amazing coverage in a variety of places - but they don’t have the Apple iPhone and it really stinks.
What’s hard about this whole deal is that I really want to get the Apple iPhone but I don’t want to switch services. Of course, right now it doesn’t look like the iPhone will be on any other network for quite a while yet (please let me know if I’m wrong).
So i’m looking to possibly switch (sorry Alltell). Before I get much closer to switching however, I need to know what your experience(s) are with AT&T (previously Cingular). Do you love them, do they cover everywhere you go and do you like their plans and customer service?
This is a big deal and I’m guessing AT&T isn’t going to be as cool as Verison with their (current in 2007) “Try us for 30-days FREE” promotion but make me sign a 1-2 year contract to lock me into their possible crappy service.
So - let me know if you have AT&T, especially if you’re in the West Michigan area.

Elevator Up is now located in the new Zeeland Clock Tower building with more room than we know what to do with.

It seems a bit weird to think we’re ready to add someone else to the Elevator Up team but once you add the first person, I guess the rest come a lot easier. You begin to realize how much more a team of experts can do instead of trying to do it all yourself.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a mind-blowing designer that eats PhotoShop files for breakfast enjoys a hardy TextMate Lunch and sits down for dinner to enjoy some Illustrator files. For a snack during all that, this person might be found enjoying a small video file to keep him/her satisfied.
