New Community 4th - Now live

If things haven’t been crazy enough with all the other sites that have recently gone live - I’ve got one more to add to the list.

A snapshot of the newly launched New Community church website New Community 4th Reformed Church now has a little corner of the web just to themselves. Not only is it a nice corner but it’s proudly hosted on Elevator Up’s servers.

Fourth Reformed Church is not just a normal church but one filled with passionate people, a close nit community and an extremely interesting history.

A group of people from Third Reformed Church, wanting to maintain worship services in the Dutch language, petitioned the Classis of Holland (the local governing body of the Reformed Church in America) to begin a new Reformed church on the western outskirts of town! After a few weeks of discussion Fourth Reformed Church was permitted and encouraged to organize, which it did on March 13, 1896. Along with developing the website, Elevator Up teamed up with the church to helped train inner city children to learn HTML. The training was a six week long en devour with weekly snacks and computers provided for the training by the Elevator UP team.
