With everything at our fingertips, individuals are able to both try new things and accomplish them for little to no cost(s) up front. It’s beautiful and more often than not - simple.
With that, I decided to take advantage of one of those tools and use it to make an Elevator Up store front. It was incredibly simple and allows anyone interested to purchase Elevator Up paraphernalia.
As for pricing, Cafepress has their built in price and I’m allowed to mark up the items as much or little as I want. Since I’m not expecting floods of people to be purchasing Elevator Up items, there is no market at all on anything in the store. That means you get everything at our costs.
The one thing I ask is - If you do purchase an item (and we’d love you too), please let me know and even send me a picture of you using it.
So go and take a peek at what’s available.

If things haven’t been crazy enough with all the other sites that have recently gone live - I’ve got one more to add to the list.
New Community 4th Reformed Church now has a little corner of the web just to themselves. Not only is it a nice corner but it’s proudly hosted on Elevator Up’s servers.
Fourth Reformed Church is not just a normal church but one filled with passionate people, a close nit community and an extremely interesting history.
A group of people from Third Reformed Church, wanting to maintain worship services in the Dutch language, petitioned the Classis of Holland (the local governing body of the Reformed Church in America) to begin a new Reformed church on the western outskirts of town! After a few weeks of discussion Fourth Reformed Church was permitted and encouraged to organize, which it did on March 13, 1896. By the end of the year twenty-one families were on the membership rolls. Continue reading their history »
Along with developing the website, Elevator Up teamed up with the church to helped train inner city children to learn HTML. The training was a six week long en devour with weekly snacks and computers provided for the training by the Elevator UP team.

Almost a year ago when Jodi and I moved into our house on Ardmore St. the first thing I did was order broadband internet. I even made the call before taking care of garbage pickup and switching over our mail to the new house.
I ended up going with Comcast because they had some good rates and offered more bandwidth to their users than anyone else (at the time).
Over the past 4 months however there service has gone way down hill. At different times during the day the bandwidth availability has been slower than a dial-up connection to only jump way up only a few minutes later. Other times you won’t even be able get online at all.
Here’s an example taken just today. Notice both the date of when the test was done (today) and time in which each was taken.
35.8kbps Bandwidth today at 10:00am
2551.6kbps Bandwidth today at 10:08am
As a web developer and lover of almost everything the Internet has to offer, I spend quite a bit of my day online and when a company like Comcast can’t get their act together - it’s time to start looking for someone else.
So who do you use, how much do you pay (if I can ask), and what do you like or don’t like about that company?

If you’re like me and like any normal indavidual - you love t-shirts. The things you’ll do for them is amazing. I’ve seen people run marithons, join groups they didn’t want to join and trade more valuable items just to have the comfort of this thin material.
Finding great t-shirts are usually left for Hollywood clothing stylist to discover but thanks to the folks at Threadless that’s no longer the case. These are simply have great t-shirts and while looking through their catalog you can’t help but find yourself thinking - “I want all of these!”.
They also understand there are people out there that love giving gifts to others (cough-buy me a shirt or five please - cough). This can easily be done by purchasing a Gift Certificate.
A few shirts I love:
Also - if you do decide to purchase one or many of these sweet t-shirts, make sure to use my referral link to help me get my free shirt(s).
