A few days after

A few days later I’m finding myself extremely tired and have seemed to lost my well planned out sleeping schedule. Waking up a few times a night and not really knowing if you’re dreaming is slowly becoming the norm.

Adding fuel to the fire - last night I must have ate something I shouldn’t have and ended up with stomach pains the whole night and well into the morning. Around 11am or so my body decided whatever it was I ate had to leave and in a rather quick, hunched over run to the bathroom led me into a couple minutes of hugging the toilet. For those that know me - this is also my first time throwing up.

Hours later things are much better but the thought of shoveling more food into my delicate stomach is far from my mind.

Baby Jessica is however doing wonderfully. Today she slept long enough for both Jodi and I to catch up on sleep we lost the night before. In fact, right now, she’s sitting in a little baby chair sleeping preciously away to background music of Baby Neptune.

Welcome to the throw up club. It feels good, doesn’t it?

Keep being a great Daddy Aaron.

Hi Jodi,
Congrats on your new baby! She is absolutely beautiful. I can only hope that someday I will be blessed with a healthy and beautiful baby of my own!
I found Aaron and your site through Jen Feys, she is a very good friend of mine. I saw the pictures of you at 36 weeks and said, “Wait a minute, I know her!” I hope all is still going well. (and thanks for the laughs every now and then!)
