Thanksgiving Design Change

With a few days off from work I decided to get a couple things done around here - while I had the time. The obvious changes are to the site design. I was beginning to get rather discussed with the old masthead and with a little encourangement to change from my wife, I came up with the current masthead.

What’s interesting about this particular masthead is that it’s actually a picture of our kitchen. Ok - I know, it seems a little hard to believe but take a look at this picture in my photo gallery. Now look at the different hues of red, yellow, white and brown. If you take all those colors, bring them into PhotoShop and mash them all together - you’ll get my masthead.

On a side note. I went through a few revisions of this masthead (simple as it may seem). I origionally designed this one but after I placed it into the website, it didn’t make anything come to life. So I started working on it again.

Adhering to Style

After that was done I began to play with theParagon brand/style. You may not have realized it, but I do have a style and like sticking to it. This is where the small URL address came along with the simple leaf. The leaf represents Thanksgiving and all those leaves I raked up last week.

Once I got all that worked out, I began playing around a bit with everything else. Very small details in most cases but there is change.

Better Search Engine

Another change is to my Search Page. For I don’t know how long, its been completely unstyled and I hated it, but never had time to change it. I’m happy to say the Search page is finished and kindly showing results not only within the Paragon site, but also other sites within theParagon Network.

So there you have it - A new design; kind of.
