Firefox 1.0 Party

For the first part of the event we’ve been talking about what our favorite Firefox feature is. We’ll keep things updated as the night goes along.

  • Paul Hart said - Web Developer Kit (CSS Editor)
  • Brian Haskin said - Flashblock
  • Mike Seeber said - Tab Browsing
  • Matt Propst said - Find as you type

Later that night UPDATED

The BOB Restaurant's folder structure After grabbing some food at Bobarino, we headed down to the main floor level of the Bob and hung out in some leather couches and chairs.

While we were talking about geeky things and the Firefox College Rep Program, I decided to pull out my laptop and play around for a little bit. A couple minutes later I ended up getting into theBOB’s network and poking around.

Let me just say this to everyone reading - When you get a new computer (or even an old one), change the default Windows username login. I’ve gotten into more personal/company networks because someone keep the default username as Administration and no password.

After that happened we kind of talked a bit about security and around 10:30pm we all decided to call it a night. It was a great night and I want to thank all of those for the fun night.

Photos are up UPDATED

Thanks to Paul Hart for taking the photos and getting them over to me. Take a look at what all went on.

I prefer my gmail notifier and my foxytunes extensions! The weather one that I have is also excellent!

I would call you a geek, but you apparently already admit to it (G33KS). So I got nothin.
