I’ll talk much more on this later but, last week Elevator Up L.L.C. got a call from the City of Holland saying that City Council has approved my proposal for redeveloping their website and would like to move forward as soon as possible.

Elevator Up will be working side-by-side with the City of Holland to develop a site architecture, content strategy, new design, employee training, better site usability, accessability in compliance with Section 508, and CMS deployment.
This is increadibly exciting for me and I’m excited to move forward.

Add to the discussion.
60 seconds to the minute
60 minutes to the hour
24 hours to the day
7 days to the week
how the heck are you going to find time for this?
Either way, Congrats

Sweet. Does this involve all department pages as well? Such as the horrid HPD and HFD sites?
I have no doubt you will make that site much better!
Rob - An increadible amount of preplanning.
Paul - From my conversations with the City, yes, the HPD and HFD would be included within this development. The goal is to provide a common/networked look and feel between all departments.
Perhaps you should slip in a little promotion for the 1st annual tulip time dutch drag racing event, not that it would be unprofessional or anything.
Also, if you need any wacky animal illustrations let me know. I currently specialize in chickens, giraffes, beavers, dogs, one particular otter, ducks, storks, assorted small birds, mice, dinosaurs-mainly t-rexes and raptors, sharks, snakes, amoebas, general viruses, gorillas, bears, owls, sqirrels, an occasional cow, and large breed mosquitos.
And all personal promotion aside, congratulations. You boggle my mind. You are the man.
Cooper,
you need to blog.
It would be off the richter
off the richter
off the richter.
Tell me if you need me to host it (and I will if I can get bloody movable type to work)
whose blog is this anyway…
sorry aaron.
Congratulations - that is quite a win!!
