In Loving Memory
It wasn’t more than a couple hours ago when Jodi and I were talking to Wayne and telling him about our recent trip to the Antique Fair in Allegan. He wasn’t as communicative as he normally was but it was to be expected.
At ten-o-clock Sunday night, we got a call from Jodi’s mom saying that we should come over right away - Wayne had just passed away. Tears filled the air while we drove quickly over. Family was together and after a few hours we began to talk about the life Wayne lived. He was a great man.
The night was long and as you can tell by when this post was written - it’s already into the following day.
On August 29, 2004 - Wayne passed away peacefully in his sleep. Kathy had next to him in a rocking chair the whole day and was with him till the end.
