I’m sitting here looking at this site and I’m wondering “What would make this site better?”. Right now it’s mainly a site where I share my thoughts (often referred to a blog) but that’s really it. Sure, I have a couple extra sections but they seem to collect dust.
One thing I really would like to make much bigger is my gallery section. I’ve love to start uploading all the pictures my wife and I have been taking over the years. However, the thing that seems to stop me is perfectionism. I want to have a sweet photo gallery that allows people to do a lot of different things. Hopefully I’ll get my act together and put one together soon and just work on it over time.
The other thing I’m wondering is - What would you like to see?. I know there’s quite a bit of you out there and you probably all have your own ideas of what’s interesting and fun but don’t feel like your ideas are bad because I really want to hear them.
So let me know what you would like either ME to do/add to this site or what YOU would do if you had the time or knowhow. Also note that your ideas don’t have to be completely thought out. You can say something like “I would like to see more community places on the site” and that would be good enough.

I’ll start. I would really like to have a community blog where everyone I know could just login and post their thoughts. These people would be screened first but then allowed to post as much as they liked and about whatever subject.
Make the font bigger! Us “old” folks have trouble with 6pt type.

— How about a mark on ‘baby’ and ‘galleries’ link when it is updated? (I just now realized ‘baby’ had it’s own feed)
—Add elevator up projects to projects link, or somehow integrate the two?
i think pictures are a great idea Aaron— you and Jodi are quite good and picture taking and i always enjoy looking at them

JIM - I’ll be developing an option that will allow you to make the text on this site larger or smaller. My site will also remember your preferance so you won’t have to resize the text every time.
Bill - Good idea about the “Baby” and “Gallery” site. I’ll see if I can’t have something change when those pages are updated (more than just the RSS feed). I’m curious on what type of information you would like in an Elevator Up feed?

Updates to recent works, lab projects (like g33ks or mailman news), company news (such as xhtml class), articles(you were talking about publishing some more articles….
Photo Gallery has now been added :-) Took long enough didn’t it.
