Gmail: Google to offer Email
The other day I received an email that Google, the search engine we all know and love, is going to be offering free email by the name of Gmail. In fact, it’s going to be offering 1,000MB (1GB) of space for your email with the idea that you won’t and shouldn’t have to delete your messages.
Built on Google search technology, Gmail enables people to quickly search every email they’ve ever sent or received. Using keywords or advanced search features, Gmail users can find what they need, when they need it.
If you’re looking to sign-up, you can’t just yet. Right now it’s just in beta and they’re trying to run the system through a bunch of test by offering a select amount of accounts out for usage.
