Working in Boxers (Day 2)

A picture of my home office

It’s my second day working on Sentinel projects in my home office. Yesterday I came into work and did my best to pull through the body-dragging-on-the-ground feeling. It only lasted until one o’clock or so until I finally got caught slumped in my hands and was told to just go home and get better.

As nice as it was to go home, I have a lot of projects that have closing deadlines and decided to bring all my work home and spend the rest of the day working on things in comfort.

The next day (today) I didn’t feel much better and in to make sure it was ok for me to work, one more day, from home. He said that wouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure my coworkers wouldn’t like it if I gave them what I got.

So what is it that I have? Best I can tell it’s just the common flu. I general get this every so often and it will hang around me for a day or so - depending on how much rest I get.

I have a doctors appointment this coming Friday to get myself checked out and an overall look at how I’m holding up. I’ve been meaning to do this for a couple months now but never got around to making the call. Maybe it’s a good thing that I got sick. Sometimes it’s the only way you’ll slow down enough to get reorganized and put things into priority.
