Relaxing Weekend after Site Launch

After an intense month and a half of design & development I finally have my weekend of laziness. Filled with random naps, various movies I’ve wanted to watch and articles I’ve been meaning to catch up on - I’m finally able to sit relax.

For the past six weeks I’ve been working a freelance job (after work hours) for a new Real Estate firm called Maurer Real Estate in Allegan, Michigan.

Maurer Real Estate, L.L.C called me a couple months ago with the request of developing a professional online presence. They are a new, but fast growing company that has taken the Allegan area by storm.

We started by gathering quite a bit of information and data from Maurer Real Estate L.L.C. in person but after only two meetings moved to weekly conference calls and began putting the pieces of their site together.

The site quickly took form and information seemed to almost fall into place. With our goal of pushing the site live on November 1st, we didn’t have any question that this deadline couldn’t be met.

So, with all that said - I’m proud to annouce the release of www.maurerrealestate.com developed by yours truely. I might also add that the whole site has been developed with compliant XHTML and CSS.

Quote from Site

Maurer Real Estate, LLC has dove deeper into technology with the launch of our new web site. Our goal is to assist you in making the most informed decision possible when it comes to buying or selling real estate.

On our site you are able to view our listings, take a virtual tour through the homes, find a mortgage lender, & use a payment calculator to estimate your monthly payments. Also you are able to view information about the surrounding areas and see why so many people call Allegan County home.

Side Note: Whereas the site is completed, Maurer Real Estate L.L.C. has requested our services again to develop a easy method of putting their listings online. As of right now, they are putting their listings up by hand. This was per their request and way of saving some dollars on the whole project. However, after a couple days of uploading data onto the site - they quickly saw the importance of databases and the extra fuctionality it can offer.

Look soon for an update to MaurerRealEstate.com - filled with extra features such as, advanced search engine capabilities, element organization and much more.
