When You’re Busy it’s Hard
When you spend most of your day responding to hundreds of emails, writting code, learning new code, and trying to keep up with what’s going on in the industry by reading massive amounts of weblogs and Mailing List - the last thing you want to do is update your site.
This has been the common problem these past couple months. We’ve been extremely busy here at work (minus this week) and outside of work I always have something that takes up an insane amount of time.
Recently I redeveloped the LikeMinded website to add a bunch of extra functionality and requested features. The site now screams with coolness and is done completely in CSS and XHTML.
Now that I’ve finished phase two on that site, all I have to do now is teach them how to use the content management system that allows them to do anything. It’s so amazingly simple but you always want to make sure to spend a little extra time when presenting something new.
Other than web development I’ve been biking all over town. I still haven’t gotten around to getting my car fixed but hope to do so soon. I just hold off because (1) I really don’t use it very much and (2) I have this fictation with thinking I can find a cheaper/free way of getting it fixed. Needless to say it needs to get done and I’ll probably end up towing it into the shop.
