Sitting at Panera Bread

Iíve been sitting at the newly built Panera Bread restaurant every since the little hand on my clock was pointing toward the number two. Hours later, that same little hand has quickly traveled half way past the number six and I have made a permanent spot in this slightly lightened leather couch. People from every role in society have come and gone while conversations seem to jump from one table to another.

The lighting has consistently stayed even and unobtrusive while the sun coming from the windows slowly retreats under the horizon. In the distance I hear a mom and her daughter laughing overtop sounds of classic jazz surround the atmosphere as if a 1940ís band were just a step an a half past their table. Through all this, a small fire dancing before me has kept my body warm from sudden slaps of cold air that sneak in with the arrival of every person.

Aaron Schaap Says:

Not only does Panera have internet access but it ALSO has wireless internet. If you are one of the lucky indaviduals that has purchased a WIFI card (only a $60.00 value) then you’ll be able to sit in any booth, couch, corner of the restaurant you wish.

This is what I did from 2pm - 8pm Saturday.
