Not Adapting to School
I don’t seem to be adapting to school very well. I started the semester thinking I would have to work hard on the weekends and then the rest of the week I would be fine. Little did I consider the amount of change I would encounter with purchasing a house.
The house is looking great. We repainted everything, cleaned top to bottom (thanks Kathy)and purchased furniture and many other things that go in houses.
So that side of my life is pretty organized. Jodi is now living in the new house and we had our first dinner party there just last night. A group of friends from church came over and we had a good spaghetti dinner and chat.
Meanwhile, my homework has been piling up, almost to an undoable quantity. My weekends that were supposed to be used solely for homework were taken away. It’s now Monday and I don’t have one thing done. The only way I can think of to get everything done is to pay someone to do my homework.
I have NO problem paying someone to write essays for me. Nor do I think I’m getting any less of an education by letting someone do my work for me. College is simply teaching you how to survive in the real world. By me having someone else do my work and taking the credit for it - isn’t that how things are really done?

Aaron— you should come to the coffee shop more with David and I. We get lots of stuff done :)
Hey - let me know when you’re at JP’s. I usually go on Monday night at most of Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday I have classes but other than that I’ll show up for a little studying.
PS … I can’t download AIM - I’m in computer training and wanted to say hi :) Hope you’re having a great day and thanks for the letter … (giggle)

You would not feel right having someone else do your work.
Hang in there!!
ya know what? Everyone says that I wouldn’t feel good about having someone else do my work for me. I don’t think I would have a problem with it.
It’s not like I spend most of my time watching TV or sitting on the couch doing nothing. Before I started taking college classes I was studying left and right. I spent most of my time learning at least one thing (usually more). Whether it be computer relation or simply collecting knowledge for my curious mind.
I learned more about writing by myself than I have this whole semester. Sociology however is a very interesting subject and I rather enjoy studying that.
Really, I have no problem with someone else doing my work for me. Not so I can sit on my *** but so that I can learn other, more important things for my life.
Am I currently paying someone to do my homework for me right now - No. Would I if someone wanted to - More than likely I would let them.
Well… there is something to be said for learning what someone ELSE wants you to know instead of what you want to know. (I don’t like to do that either if it means anything to you.)
It’s part of life :-(
