I finally got a GUN

It’s been awhile since I shot my first gun almost a year ago today. I was in California visiting some friends and they taught me the in’s an out’s of shooting small game.

Honestly they just gave me a gun and let me shoot at various things. Once in awhlie they would whisper random tips that would usually help me with my next shot.

After that instance I only shot one other time and that was with my two buddies, Ben Doornbos and Rob Walcott. We spent a good hour shooting clay pigeons out in some field. It was one of the greatest days of my life just holding that much power in my hands.

Awhile later (stick with me on this) - Rob Walcott’s brother’s, girlfriend’s, company wanted a website but didn’t have enough money to pay for a huge development. They called me and after discussing various pricing options I said, “Your company sells guns and I sell web development - why don’t I offer my services and in exchange for a gun and some shells.

They quickly agreed and we started the project.

Later that next week I came into their store and they gave me the lowdown on what type of gun would be best for me. I personally had no idea so I just sat there saying, “I just want to shoot things” for every question they asked me.

An hour later we found the perfect gun. It was a Remington 12G 1100 model. In fact I even got a case and a lock with the alread agreedy on gun and shells.

What does it look like?

I’m glad you asked :-)

» picture one - the whole gun

» picture two - the face

So now I just need to find a place where I can go and shoot this beast.

Dude, come to my parents’ house, we shoot the .22s and the .410 all the time. I shot up a TV once, it was rad.
