A Small Break
I need to take a small break from everything. From my weblog, fixing people’s computers, developing websites, everything.
I’m to the point where I’m not really even doing things well and just doing them to get them done. That’s no way to go about things. Oddly enough I have no idea why I’m so burnt out. My first guess is the incredibale lack of sleep but I’m sure there’s something else as well.
So I’m going to take a break from everything as soon as possible. As far as my weblog updates - they’re already very few and far between. I’ll take off a couple more days and maybe when I start getting back some of my energy I’ll pop back into my computer chair and type my life away like old times.
Until then I’ll see you all later…

Life is finally slowing down and intense drama doesn’t seem to fill up as much time as last week. I’m finally moved into my new place and couldn’t be happier with my new living situation. Rent is much cheaper and I get to live with life long friends in a double wide trailer - shoot, what more could a guy ask for?
Now that things are for the most part over with my old roommates I’m finally getting things back together. Part of that is getting alot of little busy work done and refocusing on the things that I really want to do.
A major change in my life is the amount of freelance cutback’s I’m taking. For a guy that works alittle over 40 hours at a good job, it’s hard to work 4 more hours each night on freelance projects.
Whereas the money is always great the stress and lack of creativity isn’t.
So I’m cutting back on how much I’m doing. I’m only taking clients that I want to work with and farming out the ones that might not be in my market. I’m also hoping to put a huge amount of focus on a CMS (Content Management System) that myself and other guy are working on.
Soon we’ll have a site up where you can demo this software and hopefully you’ll love it so much you buy it for your next project - if you are a developer.
Right now I have been hired by Central Wesleyan Church to finish a part of this CMS and hoping to get that done in the next 2 weeks.
All in all I’m alot happier with things - my work, my living situations, and life in general.
On another note:
It was Jodi and I’s 2-year anniversary this past Friday. Check out her site to get alittle more details.

Using a Mac has been great but I could never use those fun little apps that my other PC’s had - Until Now.
Earlier today I came across a piece of software called DRAGTHIS (www.dragthing.com/). This little app helps you organize your desktop or as I call it - my life. Through my excitment I showed various people in my department and people I knew on AIM that would understand my craziness.
Shmuel Mikel happened to be one person I shared my discovery with but being a Mac guy himself, he already knew about this wonder piece of software. In fact he knew about alot of other pieces of software that I have since downloaded.
My love for the Mac is growing but I’m still waiting for the day when I get load OS X onto my machine. Ahh - tis will be a sweet day :-)

In response to various people that have questioned why I have all various information on my website - including my street address and phone number’s.
I can see/understand your concern but don’t feel there is anything to worry about. First of all it’s my old address (so I need to change that).
I agree there are alot of interesting and crazy people out there. My view might be much different if I lived in a city like NY or San Fran.
As far as me being homeschool and not as experienced in life I would have to say that homeschooling allowed me quite the different experience than the sheltered Christian.
I’ve been all over the world as well for pleasure and business. My mom is originally from NY and have spent alot of time there visiting relatives. I’m also 2 1/2 hours from Chicago and find myself wandering those streets at all hours of the night on many occasions.
I’ve stayed in San Francisco for awhile in an area called the Tenderloin - known as the WORST place to stay in San Fran. With aids, homelessness, and the poor claiming 100% of the area.
I’ve sat with homeless people on Homeless lane and had conversation with many of them and dealt with the people that didn’t want me there because I was TOO RICH for them to feel comfortable.
I’ve been to Philly to hang out with friends and I have close friends that are drug addicts, alcoholics, gays, lesbians, bi’s, drug dealers, and most other things that are out there in the world.
Where as I don’t agree with their lifestyles I simply Love the sinner NOT the sin.
I could go on about various experiences in my life that have helped me understand the terrible things that happen in this world but I’m actually at work and should really spend more time actually doing work.
I agree that it is alittle bold to put all my information online but it’s simply there to encourage community. If everyone didn’t feel so scared of everyone else then we would all be able to share our personal selves with any stranger they might come in contact with.
I would like to begin this trend of people that simply love and see people as essentially good - despite the overwhelming evidence of the opposite.

After a solid month of design, development and coding the TERRAlastic website is completed.
The Noble Company, based in Grand Haven, is the sole distributor for Terralastic in North America and stocks selected sizes and colors. The main TERRAlastic office(s) is based in Europe or online at www.terralastic.de/.
The Noble Company was a great client and worked hard with us to develop their TERRAlastic product site. We’re hoping to do some more projects with them in the near future but until then they’ll be using their new website to promote a wonderful product.
