Writing is about love

Without being able to actually come up with anything provocative to say I decided to say a couple random pieces on my mind.
One:
I woke up this morning at 7:00 and just sat there for a good 5 minutes, trying to figure out why my alarm went off at such and early hour. Most of that 5 minutes was, however, wasted trying to figure out what day it was.
They’ve all been slowly moving into one big day and only little things allow them to actually register as a different one.
Two:
I’ve been reading these books on what good writing is and it’s really helped me understand why I’ve had such a huge slump these past couple months.
One book mentioned that writers aren’t really writers but merely people that write everyday no matter what. Another book had the idea that everyone had the skill of becoming a writer but had to understand the 2 different types of people inside ourselves.
The first person is our child. Our child has many stories to tell and wants to yell them out to everyone and at any time. The second person is our adult. The adult is constantly yelling at our child to calm down and explaining, “Telling everyone everything isn’t proper”.
The job of a wanna-be-writer is to constantly ignore our adult and let the child run free. Our child can’t be held down or kept quiet for us to keep telling stories and emotions freely.
I’m not yet at the point where can let my child run free but it’s something I’m working on. It might need to start by simply posting everyday. Whether I have something to say or not. If I write enough it should start feeling natural and then hopefully better.
Or so these books seem to suggest.

hey you :) i liked the ideas that those books presented; is there any way that you would be willing to pass on what books you’ve been reading? (i’d like to check them out)
