Van Drunen Bike Trip

Friday01:30

If you know me at all you’ve probably heard me explain the importance of the Internet and how it opens doors for many things. Odds are Iíve also tried to get you to become an Internet Junkie such as myself.

Last week I was in one of these conversations with a family and was explaining why they should have a website. The family is the Van Drunens’ and as a family they have decided to bike across America.

My thoughts were simple - They should have a place to log their experience and also show everyone, that may be interested, what’s going on.

After some time of talking they asked me to set them up a website to do just this very task. To be honest I’m not a fan of putting together websites for people if I don’t get paid for it. Not because I’m a greedy jerk (ok, that might be one reason) - but because I spend so much time making sure everything works perfect. This detracts so much from work that will make me money.

I finally ended up putting together a small little site for them and hopefully it does what they want. Right now they seem pretty happy with it and I personally like the little design I came up with for them.

Feel free to keep up with what they are doing and/or contact them to encouragement as many updates as possible.

High five to Aaron … the site looks really awesome, simple - clean lines … appealing. The colors are good and the idea behind it all is quite wonderful.

I’m excited to check back every once in a while and see whats going on.
