A day of putting furniture together
_19:05
You can never tell how good a relationship really is until you put together furniture.
A couple of days ago Jodi went to Ikea in Chicago with a couple friends to buy a bunch of stuff. They came up with just about everything you could think of and of course my woman brought the office furniture.
And it began
I was told to be ready by 9:30 so we could get an early start on putting everything together. For me, I was thinking this would maybe be a good 4 hours but when I found myself begging to get food at 3:30 she still held the whip and wouldn’t let me leave until it was all finished.
She might tell a different story however. Something like - “I told him he could go!” and in all fairness she did say that. Problem wasn’t that I was starving and needed nutrition but now I was starving, needed nutrition AND had just been given the worst option a man could ever be given.
You see - If you leave you get what you want but you know you have to deal with the woman’s evil eye that is really saying; “I’ll let you leave but if you do I promise to be a thorn in your side for leaving me here and not finishing this”.
Nobody wants to deal with that so I ended up having to stay.
Around 5:00 we finally finished everything up and it was now time for food. The woman helped make a great meal and I ate faster than I’ve ever eaten in my life.
MEN - if you’re out there remember this. If your woman (or any woman) asks you to do something with them and it deals with something you would rather not do - BRING A LUNCH.

Dan Says:
Where the hell was that post 10 years ago??!?
I’ve seen so many pairs of those eyes i’m afraid to shut mine after reading that.
