_10:54 :: Webloggers UNITE???
I really would like to put something together almost like fray day but for bloggers and loggers alike - anyone who has a weblog. Just a time where people can get together and meet one another face to face.
The problem is - I don’t know how to find people just within the Michigan area. I guess I could open it up to everyone who wanted to come but was thinking about starting small. Would it be best to just open it to all?
Is there any way I can find out where these people are around us? and what would be the best way to announce this? I’ve already contacted various people (Derek Powazek and Evhead over at blogger.com, and more) about this idea and waiting for their thoughts and/or any help.
What are your thoughts on this and what would this day look like to you? Is this something you would like to help put together with me - I need some help with various details.
So again, Would you like to meet a bunch of webloggers?

I think it would be a great way to form community in this small Holland Area for all the adjoining areas with their webloggers and the such. It’s another form of a voice - and I think bringing all these voices together would be, not only very swank but also beneficial to others as well.

Thanks for your support girlfriend :-) However I am not sure on when something like this would happen. It depends on how everything comes together. I would like to see this happen some time in the summer of 2002 (this year).

Your idea to bring webloggers into a community to meet face to face seems like it is right up your alley. You are great at bringing people together. Good luck setting it up!
