Super Bowl XXXVI

Adam Vinatieri’s 48-yard FG was the last act of what Vic Carucci believes was the “greatest Super Bowl of them all,” the Patriots’ 20-17 win over the Rams. But what set up the kick was a true team effort. “That’s the reason we won,” Bill Belichick said. “Because we played the game as a team.”

All year I don’t lay an eye toward a football game but when word spreads of the Super Bowl, I turn into a wanna-be-football-nut. This years game was probably one of the better games I’ve seen in awhile. With the score 17-17 and a couple minutes left on the clock - you could have sworn the game was going to be pulled into overtime.

The word was spreading how the St. Louis RAMS were going to win by 14 points and not even give the Patriots a chance. For the first while we saw that to be true. Then something happened - then it happened again - and finally Adam Vinatieri’s kick that beautiful 48-yard FG, making the young and old jump out of their seats in amazment.

Commercials also make the Super Bowl - The Super Bowl. I would have to say the best commercial by far was by LEVI’s - loose fit jeans. This guy was just walking down the street with headphones and kick’in in from his waist down. To that I say - GENIUS !

What was your reaction to Super Bowl XXXVI?
