Dreaming or reality

Sunday_21:06

After someone dies - his or her brain will stay alive for an average of 7 minutes. Now that you know that keep it in mind for later.

Have you ever awoke up from a dream and looked at your clock to find the time to be - let’s just say - 7:41am. You go back to bed and dream once again. In this dream you travel all over the world and maybe even the universe - meeting various people and doing various things. You then wake up and look at your clock to only see it say: 7:42am. Only a minute has gone by.

Now - Remember back in the beginning about a human brain lasting for 7 minutes after death and think about what I just said. If you can live a full life and experience unlimited things within a span of a minute - Just think how much you could or how many lives you could live in the span of 7 minutes. Are you still with me?

So now I pose the question - Are you really alive or are you dead? If you’re alive, how do you know and if you’re dead how do you know? I now pose the question - How does this affect me, and what I do?

Simple - people are either wake walking through their dreams or sleep waking through their general existence. The problem is that we don’t really know which one we’re in. So what I chose to do is everything!

I’m not going to limit myself to what I think I can and can’t do. Because if I’m dreaming or dead then I have the ability to do whatever I want to do whenever I want to do it. The question of responsibility comes strongly into play and I would say it still is a matter and results of ones decisions are still a threat. Whether we’re alive or dead.

So we still have to be responsible in what we do but weíre not limited by many things we think we are. Such as knowledge and understanding, looking at people as real humans and not just ignoring them and giving robotic speeches to them such as “Credit or Debit”, “Paper or Plastic”.

We need to see people as people - one of the same. And since we don’t know if we’re dead, dreaming, or alive - times is our friend and we have no excuse not to take it and learn and grow.

Not just on a personal level but as a race and culture.

I hope that made sense and I’m not going to create the illusion of coming up with all that on my own. The movie - “Waking Life” was the creator of my speech and my thoughts above are similar to the movie as well as a personal insight of my own.
