I need to start spending time learning various other languages like XML, PHP, and even start dabbling in some MySQL. I know way to more than enough about HTML and CSS - those languages are great but don’t finish the job.
I’ve been learning a ton about standards and I think I might have to slow down a bit with that and focus alittle more of my energy on XML and PHP. It’s great to understand what standards are and how they vary from different browsers and operating systems. I’ve just gone alittle over board with trying to keep up with EVERY little detail that might change.
The W3C.org is a great place and I fully support what they are doing. I just think I’m going to cut back on that and start learning more about other languages. This is something that needs to be done and will help me alot - especially when getting a better job or taking more advanced college classes.
Do you know of any good programming sites for XML and/or PHP?
