sunburnt from booth
_1:33
For some reason or other, while driving home last night, I decided to stop by a tanning center to see how much it would cost to get just one tan. Not that I’m looking to become this dark skin beach surf’in wanna be - I just had nothing else to do that night and I thought it would be cool.
I’ll have to be honest with ya and say that it wasn’t that bad. However - the next day was a whole other story. I was beat red on my back, legs and sadly enough - my butt :-( If you all can remember back to the summer when burning your skin was a daily thing - you probably remember how horrible a shower feels.
After a long while, the shower didn’t hurt as much but sitting on my butt hurt like hell. Then later on I hung out with my friends and they found out about my burned bottom and thought it would be funny to slap it with ping-pong paddles.
So many memories of childhood flooded back into my head. The stinging and trying to get away - all things that I just wanted to stop. Back when I was a child and earlier today.
The my lesson to you all out there is - don’t get burnt!

Jim DeBruycker Says:
Tanning salons have to be one of the worst health risks generally available. Ask any doctor and they will tell you to use sunblock every time you are outside to protect your skin. Purposely going out of your way to get a tan is irresponsible. It happens a lot, otherwise those shops wouldn’t stay in business, but it should be illegal!
One man’s opinion. To a dermatologist, lilly white is wonderful.
