weekend design

Sunday_2:16

Things have gotten alot better since my last post. The first semester of school is done and I had my first weekend to really relax. No studying Interpersonial Communications or Systems Design - just good old sleeping in till noon and finishing personal projects.

Friday night Ethan and David came over to hang out and brought a flute. They weren’t that good at playing it but I was proud of them for trying. After we realized that sitting at my house sucked and wasn’t going anywhere for us we decided to head over to JP’s.

Before we went inside for a drink we played an intense game of croquet on the lawn - right outside of JP’s. People seemed to think it was funny and watched us for quite a while. Maybe they just thought we were some sort of retarted kids because we would play the flute in between evey hit. Who knows though…

After that we had some tea. It seemed to be the proper thing to do after playing a game of croquet.

Saturday I slept in until noon and woke up to have a bowl of cerial. Sat down at the computer and turned on some tunes and just surfed. Something I hadn’t done in quite some time to be honest with ya.

I found so many cool sites and while doing so I listened to Mobey and some other music that good old Joel Boyles gave me - Thanks buddy :-0

Left my computer to see the world:

Around 15:00 (3:00 EST) a bunch of people drove to Grand Rapids to watch Ocean 11. Now I know that I say almost every movie is good and this one is no exception. I’ll never get tired of watching movies about people robbing banks and casinos.

When the movie was done I realized that the large popcorn and large pop I got before I went in didn’t even make a dent. I was in great need for food - and plently of it. We wondered over to DON PABLO’s for some good old Mexican food and sit-down-restaurant-atmosphere.

I decided to go home after all that to play on my computer again. I was feeling lonely and I know that my computer was feeling just the same. The rest of the clan went over to Bresa Del Rio Ranch in Otsego for some country music and line dancing. Thank god I skipped that…..

My time at home was very productive and I spit out (i think) one of the best designs I’ve ever created. It’s for a group at my church that really wanted/needed a website. They didn’t have any money so I told them I would come up with something for them.

Check it out and let me know what you think. I would love your input(s). See it now.

I, personally, think this is one of the greatest sites my man over there, Aaron, has ever come up with. It flows, it’s “design” worthy and it’s not the same ol’ thing. I’m very proud of this kid … not to mention - I now freely yell from the streets, at the top of my lungs mind you, “AAON SCHAAP IS AN INTERNET GOD … ” (:))

Good design. I think it’s for the best that you skipped the line-dancing and dedicated your time to a pursuit you don’t have to wear boots and chaps with.

Listen fancy boys … if you had girlfriends maybe you’d know what it’s like to make someone else happy. Thats all I was doing - makeing my man happy and being proud of him. Leave line dancing and spelling out of it. Just enjoy it.

I’m just happy that making my girlfriend happy doesn’t involve line-dancing. Happiness can be made in ways and places that don’t involve embarassing one’s self in public. I’ve always preferred to embarass myself in private.

Continue making the Schaap happy, though, if he’s into that sort of thing.
