realizing I have no car

Tuesday_22:57

It’s been quite some time since I’ve actually owned a car and it’s really starting to get to me now. Always walking, riding my bike, or trying to catch a ride is getting harder and harder. I am a busy person and I can’t expect people to drive me around like some Limo service.

When I was in Europe they had great public transportation. Everyone road their bikes, walked, or just jumped onto a train. Holland (MI) people don’t seem to take much care for those without cars or without reliable transportation. They hop into their cars and take for granted how easily they get around and don’t seem to notice Holland’s huge lack of public transportation.

Why doesn’t Holland have good public transportation? Does the mayor and his groupies not see the importance of this system? I could be completely wrong and they could feel strongly about public transportation but just don’t see people asking for it.

Holland is known for being a rich county. A place where kids will get a free car for their 16th birthday and maybe even free insurance and gas. I don’t hate those kinds of people and don’t have any regrets for not being apart of that rich culture.

I should really focus my energy more and somehow get on the Holland Board. How does one go about that? Do you know how?

Doesn't matter Says:

Dude , havent you heard of the MAX?!?!?

It only costs $1. And holland will never improve

it’s existing PTS if noone uses it. I ride it everyday

and it can get you virtually anywhere or at least somewhere close to where you need to go.
