Kohl’s Card
_17:42
Around 12:30 I called my parents and told them I was actually in town. I really was looking for a free meal but seeing your family every now and then is always a nice thing to do.
We all gathered around a table at Applebee’s where I explained the trip to th fullest I possible could. I brought some money from the various places I had gone and explained how much they were worth here.
Kirk was there and I guess is going to be a regular around the schaap family for who knows how long. Leah (my sister) bluntly told me that they were going out during a conversation. I think she’s rather excited about having a boyfriend. {…hopefully she doesn’t read this log for fear of embarressing her - o-well}
After the feast my mom had to make a quick stop at Kohl’s to buy a top. Not a problem but knowing how my mom does things quick, I decided to do alittle shopping as well.
I didn’t buy a whole lot, just 2 button up shirts, a sweater, and a pair a slacks. I showed my mom to make sure they were good choices and then went off to purchase my new outfits.
When you only have a couple things in your hands, you don’t plan on it coming out to be $96.78. I was forced to get a Kohl’s Card for the 10%.
I didn’t want to but it was the only way. So I quickly filled out some paper work that I didn’t even read - probably having something along the lines of giving them 3 of my fingers with every missed payment while interest on my purchase grows 300% a day I’m over.
So I am now a proud holder of a Kohl’s card - or so the piece of explained to me.
