In Prague

Monday_13:02

Europe is a great place and Germany is probably the best I’ve been through so far. We stayed in a hostel for a night and looked around an amazing castle during the day. Germany shopping was a riot as well. We were only in Germany for a night and a day and were off to Prague.

I’m actually in Prague right now in an Internet Cafe. It’s not all that much of a cafe but who am I to complain… It’s the internet. As far as the actual Prague - I have yet to see.

Last night we all went out to eat and the guy that is bringing us around started mocking Homeschooling and explaining how stupid it is and how it doesn’t work - he said alot of other things that he shouldn’t have said. I responded with, “You have NO idea what you’re talking about?”

He explained how Homeschoolers didn’t have social lives and weren’t very smart to which I responded - “I can tell you for sure that I have a million more friends and just as many (if not more) close friends.”

I guess that was a very personal issue for him and he just got up from his seat and left the restaurant. Before he left he told Jodi and I to find our own way back home (which was about a day or so from Prague), because he would not bring us.

I tried talking to him later but he wouldn’t discuss anything with me.

Honestly I am very pissed off with his child-like manner and doing all I can to hold myself back from beating the out of him.

I’m usually not one to get into a fight - let alone a fist fight but the way this guy is acting I am doing all I can to hold myself back.

Right now we have a couple options on how to get home (via train an such) but the girls are talking together to see if we can at least catch ride back to Amsterdam and then Jodi and I will stay with some other people we know until it’s time to leave.

It’s a pretty big mess but things will work out - I’ll do my best to let you all know what’s going on.

Add your thoughts.

Jodi Says:

I would just like to add how much this has affected my respect for this guy as a man, human, and anything else. to be able to go that far without recognizing the effect he’s having on me and emily as woman as well as the personal aatack that he threw aaron and my way for being homeschooled. aaron shouldn’t have gone as far as he did, but this guy should have been more careful about how he presented himself in the first place … no one should have said or did what they did, but we can’t change that. so i think the wisest thing that could have done and still should be done is to have aaron and this guy bow out to eachother, forget it and go on. obvioulsy there will be hard feelings and regret they prolly won’t ever forget this … but there’s girls involved and what kind of man are you if you can’t recognize that?
