leaving for Europe

Earlier today I was asked if I was excited to be leave for Europe tomorrow and I had to think twice about it. You see - I’ve had my mind on so many other things that I wasn’t even thinking about how tomorrow I would be on a plane.
I had to answer honestly to the guy and told him I really hadn’t thought of it much. Things don’t really hit me until the day of or the following day. I really like my job, crazy as it may sound, and I like my life in Holland right now.
It will however be great to leave this place and venture into other lands and interact in new cultures. I would have to say that is the biggest thing for me…. the cultural change. It just excites me!
I’m looking forward to capturing the scenary and then sadly realizing that a picture can never hold what I have in my mind. I’m looking forward to seeing how the a place runs (other than Holland, MI), and I’m looking forward to creativity that floods my mind when put into a new atmosphere.
So tomorrow I will be leaving and not returning until the 24th. I hope to post logs while I’m there and maybe even a picture every once in awhile.

Just a note for myself that I need to pick up some Pins from any Hard Rock Cafe I come across for John Smith.
And because my boss asked so nicely I need to remember to pick up some glass pop bottles. One for him to save and the other for him to drink.
They’ll be paying me for anything I buy though ;-)
