Why I have this site

monday_9:36 AM

I guess it’s time for me to explain why I have this weblog once again. I’ve had alot of you out there wondering why I spend so much time on this site and simply enough - “Why do you even have one?”.

Hears the thing - I have a hard time learning from books and the best way I’ve found to learning all this stuff is to just make my own site. Honestly I don’t care much if nobody ever came to my site. I don’t have a counter because the numbers just aren’t important.

Sure, I had one before but that was so I could see how they worked. Everything that is done on my site is to see how something works. By me playing around with this site I start figureing out many things that I wouldn’t normally have any way of knowing.

Take now for example. I just downloaded the greymatter scripts to help me maintain my site but it’s more than just that. I’m trying to see how a more dynamic site works.

When you have a site that’s doing things dynamically you start looking at things differently. It’s more creative and allows the users (you) to have room to play. I don’t expect to be the next slashdot.org or become famous by having this site. I do it because it’s fun and I learn alot.

So does that answer your questions or do you all still have more?
